THE POMPANO BEACH SALTWATER CIRCUIT IS BACK
South Florida’s most electrifying meatfish tournament series returns this summer with three action-packed legs and a $600,000 season purse on the line. MERCURY/SEAVEE SALTWATER SHOOTOUT – MAY 15-18, 2025
The season opens strong with the Mercury/SeaVee Pompano Beach Saltwater Shootout from May 15 – 18, a fan-favorite event at a time when the ocean is alive with the target species that will be sure to bring giant fish to the scales. With an estimated purse of over $200,000, this leg is a must-fish for teams hungry to get in on the action with family and friends.

The weekend wraps up in style with a celebratory Awards Brunch on Sunday, May 18th, back at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, where champions are crowned and stories from the scales are shared over hearty meals and memories.
TOURNAMENT ENTRY TIPS: GENERAL ENTRY CATEGORY INFORMATION
The team divisions in the Saltwater Shootout present two unique avenues for competition. Teams can elect to compete in either the BIG BAG or BIG FISH division. Teams in the BIG BAG division compete against each other for the heaviest aggregate bag, paying out the top eight teams in the category. Teams in the BIG FISH division compete against each other for the heaviest single fish, paying out the top three teams in the category.
Additionally, all other general entry divisions, including Small Boat, Mid-Range, Semi-Pro, Angler, Family, Kids, and Species divisions, are open to all participating teams. See the rules for details.
TOURNAMENT ENTRY TIPS: OPTIONAL ENTRY CATEGORY INFORMATION
$85,000 on the line in The Pick 3 Jackpot – win big or grow the pot! Before fishing, three of the five eligible species will be randomly selected as the day’s target. If no one wins, the prize rolls over to the next PBSC tournament! Entry fee: $200 per boat. See the rules for details.
